Can I keep working?

Some people keep working during their treatment allowing for time off to go to hospital for each treatment. But most people find they have to cut down on what they are doing. They may feel too tired and unwell to go to work, particularly after each treatment. Some work part time instead of full time. Others take a few days off around each treatment. Others take an extended break for the whole course of the treatment. If you wish to continue working ask your doctor or treatment team if you can have your treatment the day before the weekend or on your regular days off. Talk to your employer, family and friends and work out what suits you. Don't force yourself to do too much.
